In 1935, Mono Pumps Limited commenced manufacturing a newly discovered pumping concept - the progressing cavity pump. Invented by professor Rene Moineau in the early 1930’s, today Mono is the name in progressing cavity pumps and has created a wide product range to handle the diverse variety of liquids, heads and flow rates demanded by the following industries:

The gentle non-pulsating action of the pump helps maintain product integrity during pumping with even the most sensitive of liquids. The progressing cavity principle offers many benefits for a wide range of applications including those where particularly difficult substances

Mono also offer a range of screens, grinders and macerators which have been developed for waste water treatment that grind solids, screen storm water overflows, and, when coupled with a Mono progressing cavity pump, provide a highly efficient pumping system.

Low Flow LF Range
The Mono LF Range is ideal for applications where accurate, low flow pumps are needed for intermittent or continuous dosing.The LF pump incorporates the flexishaft drive concept and is available in synthetic or stainless steel versions. The gentle pumping action makes it ideal for pumping delicate, shear sensitive products.

Widethroat range

Widethroat W Range
The widethroat range has been developed to handle materials with viscosities up to 1,000,000cP.
Options available include integral bridge breaker and/or large diameter auger to assist in pumping dry solids approaching 40%. It is available as a monobloc or bareshaft pump

The Principle is Mono
The heart of the Mono pump is the rotor and stator. As the single helix rotor revolves eccentrically within the double helix of the stator, a continuous cavity is formed and progresses towards the discharge end of the pump as the rotor rotates.
